The fire that destroyed a car in the centre of Usellus last night is still unclear.

The alarm was raised in the middle of the night when some residents heard a loud noise and noticed flames that within minutes engulfed a Fiat Doblò parked under the home of the owner, a 79-year-old former immigrant . The firefighters were immediately called , and they worked long hours to put out the flames and secure the area.

Carabinieri from the Mogoro Company, led by Major Enrico Concas, also responded to the scene and are now conducting investigations. At this time, no possibility has been ruled out, including the possibility of arson.
