New fire alarm this afternoon in the municipality of Bortigiadas , where a fire that broke out yesterday has spread to the "Case La Fronti" area.
The flames reignited in an area where cleanup operations had continued unabated until this morning.
The resumption of the fire required immediate air intervention from the regional fleet: a Forestry Corps helicopter took off from the Limbara base and responded to the scene.
Another fire front opened up in Buddusò in the “Cucumiau” area where a Super Puma helicopter from the Alá dei Sardi base intervened.
At the end of the morning, the Forestry Corps responded to a fire in the "Primaghe" area of the Municipality of Lei with the support of a helicopter from the Anela operations base.
