Fire broke out overnight along the Bosa-Montresta highway, sending two hectares of land into smoke.

A fire broke out during the night, around 1am in the locality of Codulanu and sa Pala de sa Frommigia, along the Bosa-Montresta road.
Teams from Barracelli, Forestas, the Fire Brigade, and the Forestry Corps operated on site.
The upper part of the fire was extinguished by Forestas foot teams, while the lower areas were extinguished by the Fire Department and Barracelli using firefighting equipment. A firefighting vehicle attempted to reach a sheepfold to tackle part of the fire.
Also on site were the deputy mayor and councilor for Civil Protection, Federico Ledda.
The firefighting operation ended at 5am, and approximately two hectares of land were burned .
Cleanup operations are underway this morning.
