Yet another fire this morning in the area of the Roma camp along State Road 387, between Selargius and Settimo San Pietro.

Firefighters began their work at 11 a.m. The flames had engulfed various household items, including scrap metal and old appliances. Two emergency response teams from the Operations Center arrived on the scene and immediately began cleanup operations.

Among the flames were also some LPG containers, which were located and made safe.

The firefighters were supported by volunteer teams from the Regional Civil Protection Fire Prevention Department who carried out interface extinguishing operations: the fire, fueled by the wind, was spreading through the undergrowth, reaching the adjacent land.
