Firefighting operations at a bakery on Via Amsicora in Ploaghe, which began at 7:30 a.m., continued well into the morning. Two teams from the Sassari headquarters were on site.

An air tanker, a tanker truck, and a ladder truck were also dispatched to assist. No injuries were reported.

Also in the Sassari area, a fire broke out on Friday night in a house on Via la Torre in Platamona. Three firefighting teams from Sassari and Porto Torres responded to the scene.

The wooden house was engulfed in flames and partially destroyed. Firefighters' efforts contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading to neighboring homes.

During the operation, about ten people were evacuated from their homes. No injuries were reported. Carabinieri and 118 emergency services were also on site.
