On the occasion of the Solemnity of Pentecost and the "Festha Manna," scheduled for Sunday, May 24, in Porto Torres, the Archdiocese of Sassari and the Accademia Foundation will lead the traditional nighttime pilgrimage from Sassari to the Romanesque Basilica of the Holy Martyrs Gavino, Proto, and Gianuario. The event, guided by the theme of peace as "presence and journey," will begin on the evening of Saturday, May 23, at the Cathedral and culminate at dawn on Sunday, May 24, in Porto Torres . On Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., Archbishop Francesco Antonio Soddu will preside over the solemn Pentecost vigil in the Cathedral of San Nicola. The nighttime pilgrimage is scheduled to depart from Piazza Duomo at around 10 p.m.

The route includes four stops for prayer and reflection : the first at Li Punti (Nuova Capolino), the second at San Giovanni (exit via De Cupis), the third at Ottava (Esso petrol station) and the last at Li Lioni (in front of "Tenute Li Lioni").

Upon arrival in Porto Torres, around 3:00 a.m., Archbishop Soddu will preside over the Pilgrim's Mass in the Basilica of the Holy Martyrs of Turritani. The following day , a procession will take place, carrying the statues of the three saints to Balai Park, where Holy Mass will be celebrated before the pilgrims return to the basilica.
