The Court of Assizes of Appeal of Sassari confirmed the life sentence, with daytime isolation, against Massimiliano Farci for the murder of Speranza Ponti .

The judges thus accepted the requests presented by prosecutor Angelo Beccu and the civil parties. The feminicide occurred on 5 December 2019 in Alghero.

Farci has always declared himself innocent, claiming that he found his partner dead and then hid the body in the place where the woman herself had indicated.
