The incident occurred around 5 a.m. The two were sleeping when they heard the shots and found their windshields shattered. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The alarm was raised immediately thanks to an emergency chat activated by the smartphone's satellite system, which alerted the Carabinieri of the Villacidro Company.
