Fatal accident last night at the entrance to Tula . The victim is a 31-year-old boy, Luciano Deiosso, from Pattada.
Driving his Mitsubishi off-road vehicle, for reasons under investigation he would have been rammed by a Yaris driven by a young man from the country.
Deiosso was in the car with a friend: both were thrown out of the pickup which overturned and ended up on them. The driver was crushed by the weight of the vehicle and died instantly . The passenger, also 31 years old from Pattada, was rescued by 118 and transported in red code to the civil hospital of Santissima Annunziata in Sassari with a head injury. It wouldn't be life threatening.
The driver of the Yaris, on the other hand, was unharmed.
In addition to the 118 health workers, the firefighters of the provincial command of Sassari and the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Ozieri for investigations.
