The former mayor of Luras Marisa Careddu passed away after a short illness.

Architect, teacher and for several terms at the helm of the Gallura municipality, Marisa Careddu was 68 years old.

Well known in Gallura for her constant commitment to territorial disputes, she had held positions in intermediate bodies. Even recently she had given her contribution to the political life of her community.
