The Cagliari Financial Police seized €160,000, including bank accounts and a building plot, from a clothing company and its owner.

The company is linked to individuals of Eastern origin. The order was issued by the investigating judge at the request of prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia.

According to investigations by the Economic and Financial Police Unit, between 2020 and 2023, the company allegedly used invoices for non-existent transactions totaling approximately €450,000, issued by three "shell" companies based in Oristano, Milan, and Prato, linked to individuals of Asian origin.

The invoices were supposedly used to reduce taxable income, resulting in tax evasion estimated at 160,000 euros.

The financial police found payments primarily in cash and poorly traceable. The entrepreneur is accused of fraudulent tax returns, and the company is facing administrative liability under Decree 231. The investigation is ongoing.
