A motorcyclist was transported with a red code assigned to the Brotzu following serious injuries sustained in a road accident which took place this morning in Cagliari , at the Ponte Vittorio roundabout.

The dynamics are still unclear, municipal police officers intervened on the spot for the reliefs.

At the moment it is not clear whether the man, who was driving a scooter, lost control of the vehicle by himself, ending up on the ground, or if he was involved in a collision.

Local police are listening to some witnesses.

Traffic in the area is experiencing severe slowdowns .
