Falling debris from a building: Cagliari, barriers in via Garibaldi

Some debris fell onto the street in via Garibaldi in Cagliari, from a building on the corner of piazza Costituzione. The incident occurred around midday: a few moments of fear for passers-by, but no one was hit.

The firefighters intervened immediately on site, followed by the local police. Around 13:00, the Civil Protection cordoned off the entire area on both the Via Garibaldi and Piazza Costituzione sides .

The next step will be to secure the area: until this is done, restrictions for pedestrians will remain.
