Expired meat and fish , unlabeled products, and workplace safety irregularities emerged from an inspection carried out today at a public establishment in the center of Arbus by the Carabinieri of the local station, with the support of the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit and the Cagliari Labor Inspectorate.

During the inspection, according to a statement from the Carabinieri, NAS officers discovered meat products without the mandatory labeling and traceability information , a violation that resulted in an administrative fine of €1,500. Failure to apply HACCP self-monitoring procedures , particularly in the management of expired foods , was also charged, resulting in a €2,000 fine, a requirement to regularize the warehouse, and the self-disposal of approximately 30 kilograms of meat and fish products unfit for consumption .

Regarding workplace safety, Nil's investigations highlighted a failure to fulfill staff health and safety training obligations. For this violation, the business owner, a local trader, was reported and fined approximately €1,850.
