A 43-year-old man was arrested in Quartu for stalking his ex-partner . During the operation, he was found in possession of cocaine, which was immediately seized. The man, a bricklayer already known to law enforcement, is now under house arrest . The Carabinieri operation took place yesterday evening, executing a house arrest order issued by the Criminal Enforcement Office of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cagliari.

The restrictive measure represents the culmination of a delicate investigation launched at the end of last month , when the man's ex-partner found the courage to report a long series of harassing behaviors . The emergency protection procedure provided for by the " Red Code " was activated immediately.

During the execution of the order, the 43-year-old, subjected to a personal search, was found in possession of 8 grams of cocaine . The narcotic substance was immediately seized, and the man was also charged with unlawful possession.
