After the scorching heat of summer, Esterzili has embraced autumn with creativity and a lot of imagination. The first leaves are falling and the crisp morning air has pushed the people of Esterzili to transform the entrances of their houses, balconies and alleys into living paintings to celebrate the beauty of a season that is sometimes even melancholic.
The initiative, born by chance from word of mouth, immediately took hold and in the town they immediately began to decorate the urban spaces with the colors and elements typical of autumn.
Golden and red leaves, pumpkins of the most varied shapes, dry branches and garlands of chestnuts and berries.
"Imagine walking through the streets of the town and finding yourself immersed in a magical atmosphere, where every corner turns into a postcard that tells of nature and its wonderful transformations. Wouldn't it be a view capable of warming the heart, while the temperatures drop?", the Esterzilesi said to each other, underlining that it is not only an aesthetic initiative, but also a way to reconnect with the natural rhythm of the seasons. Decorating the entrance to the house, in fact, is not only a symbolic gesture to celebrate autumn, but a way to ignite within us that warmth and creativity capable of also creating sharing and aggregation.
And so there has been no shortage of ideas and everyone is having fun: wreaths made of dry leaves, pine cones and walnuts, pumpkins placed on the steps or near the door, baskets filled with chestnuts, dry branches and candles, or warm-toned blankets placed on a chair at the entrance. Everyone is interpreting autumn in their own way, bringing a personal touch that tells a unique story.
