A 51-year-old worker from Escalaplano was admitted to Brotzu Hospital with a critical prognosis after falling from scaffolding where he was performing restoration work on the facade of a house.

The man was immediately assisted by his work colleagues and by the 118 paramedics, before being transferred to the Brotzu hospital by air ambulance .

The Carabinieri of Escalaplano and Spresal are investigating the incident. Details on the circumstances of the accident are still unclear.
