Unauthorized security cameras installed and mandatory safety training never provided to employees . For these violations, the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Labor Inspectorate have reported a 54-year-old managing partner of the company that runs a café in the city center.

The action was taken following a targeted inspection conducted by the Carabinieri. According to a press release from the Carabinieri, the owner allegedly failed to provide workers with adequate training in occupational health and safety, a legal requirement.

During the investigations , it was also discovered that an unauthorized video surveillance system had been installed inside the premises. The cameras were apparently positioned to film employees at work , in violation of regulations on remote monitoring of workers.

At the end of the inspection, a fine of over 2,200 euros was imposed.
