Emergency on the Aeroitalia flight that took off from Fiumicino at 1:30 PM bound for Cagliari.

The plane had not reached an altitude of 5,000 feet when, after a few minutes of cruising, it turned back: after making a few orbits north of Leonardo Da Vinci airport, it headed for the runway of the capital's airport, where it touched down at 2.49 pm.

According to leaks, the plane, expected at Elmas Airport at 2:40 PM, sounded an emergency signal after takeoff. The cause appears to have been a loss of cabin pressure , forcing the pilot to return to base to ensure the safety of the passengers.
