He was struck by a window frame he was installing this morning in Elmas. A 41-year-old worker was injured and transported to Brotzu Hospital with a yellow code.
According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the man, an employee of a company specializing in window and door installation, was injured while installing a French window. For reasons still under investigation, the structure apparently struck him.
The worker was rescued by 118 medical personnel and transported with a yellow code to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, where he is currently hospitalized: fortunately, his life is not in danger.
The Carabinieri and the staff of the ASL's Spresal, which deals with workplace accidents, also intervened on the scene.
