This morning, passengers departing from Cagliari-Elmas Airport on an Aeroitalia flight to Rome Fiumicino experienced disruption . Despite the regional flight continuity system, the 7:30 a.m. flight was delayed by almost two hours , likely due to a technical issue that delayed its departure.

Some passengers attempted to board the next flight at 8.55am, where seats were available, but it was not possible to complete the transfer to the other connection.

After a long wait, boarding was finally announced for the flight originally scheduled for 7:30 a.m., which closed at 9:10 a.m. This is not a new situation for Sardinian passengers who, for work, study, health, or simply travel, find themselves faced with the challenges of island life.
