Attempted robbery at the Elini post office . Shortly before 8:00 a.m. today, a man threatened the employee who was starting work. The employee was about to enter the branch on Via Pompei when the robber approached her and grabbed her.

Once inside, the man aimed at the safe, which, however, had a timer: he had to wait. So the bandit, perhaps betrayed by panic, fled. Officers from the Lanusei police station, coordinated by director Fabrizio Figliola, are looking for him.

The video surveillance footage is currently being analyzed.
