"Help, help": this was the desperate cry from the rocks that broke the silence of the countryside near Seulo, in the Forau Murgia area, this afternoon.

It was thrown by Antonello Pasquali, 84 years old, a resident of the village, who fell while he was alone on a hunting trip.

According to initial reconstructions, the man fell from a rock, hitting his head hard and losing a lot of blood. Luckily, members of a hunting club were nearby and heard his cries for help coming from a remote area. They reached the elderly man and immediately alerted the emergency services.

The air ambulance responded to the scene and transported Pasquali to the hospital in Cagliari, in critical condition. His condition was assessed by paramedics as critical. The accident occurred in a dangerous and difficult-to-reach area, amidst trails and rocky outcrops, where every minute of waiting can make a difference.
