The former deputy commander of the Carloforte harbor master's office , at the center of the investigation into nautical licenses issued - according to the investigators' hypothesis - without the candidates taking the exam, ended up in prison in Uta on charges of corruption.

Yesterday morning the men of the investigative unit of the Port Authority Corps - Coast Guard, in collaboration with colleagues from Cagliari and Olbia, carried out the precautionary custody order in prison against the first lieutenant Pierpaolo Spagnolo . With him , five other suspects ended up under house arrest , while for the same number the obligation to sign was triggered.

Overall, 84 people remained registered in the register of suspects , after the investigation by the deputy prosecutor Andrea Vacca which exploded about a year and a half ago after the discovery that in the small port authority of the island of San Pietro dozens were "given away" of nautical licenses without there being evidence of having passed the exam.

In the precautionary measure signed by the investigating judge of the Cagliari court, Luca Melis, 36 suspects appear because the remaining have already proposed an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office for a plea bargain . A total of 136 charges were contested for various reasons, including corruption, aggravated forgery and also the attack on transport safety .

Among the 36 who appear in the precautionary measure (although only 11 are recipients of measures imposed by the investigating judge) there are well-known Sulcis entrepreneurs, professionals, industry appointees and public managers. Among these is Roberto Raimondi , who has already been investigated for corruption in the investigation involving the former governor Christian Solinas linked to appointments in exchange for an honorary degree in an Albanian university and university courses in a private university.
