Easter Monday marked by bad weather in Sardinia. With the notice of the regional Civil Protection to underline that it will be a wet Easter Monday: a yellow alert has been issued for hydraulic and hydrogeological risk on Campidano and Sulcis Iglesiente. The code is yellow.
In Pirri, an area subject to flooding, with a specific notice the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Cagliari has published the list of streets where it is not recommended to leave vehicles parked during the period of hydrogeological and hydraulic risk.
The streets affected are: Balilla (from Piazza Italia to Via Dandolo) and side streets; Italia; Dolianova; Sinnai; Settimo; Mara; Donori; Santorre Di Santarosa; Confalonieri; Ampere.
Cars parked in these areas - explains a note from the Municipality - can be transferred to the parking lot of the Terramaini swimming pool in via Pisano, to prevent damage resulting from possible flooding.
And if quite intense precipitation is expected in the indicated territories (accompanied by Saharan silt), the sun will not shine in the other areas of the island either, with cloudy skies and possible scattered precipitation.
Improvements from the evening and during tomorrow , when the entry of the Mistral and Ponente winds will favor the alternation between sunny phases and temporary cloudiness in a more stable and drier context across the entire island.
