Guilcier and Barigadu are preparing to celebrate Easter Monday with a packed calendar of events. This area has always drawn visitors and families thanks to its landscapes, its green novena festivals, and the festivals that surround Lake Omodeo. Among the most anticipated events is the 24th Sagra de S'Anzone di Bidonì , which, like every year, will draw thousands of people to the Istei pine forest. The Pro Loco is offering a day out with entertainment by the Dilliriana group and the possibility of excursions on the lake, organized by the ASD Sea Wreck (reservations required at 347 3846907). In Abbasanta, in the hamlet of Sant'Agostino , " Pasquetta al Parco " (Easter Monday at the Park) returns, an initiative of the Leva '86 (Level '86): menus for adults, children, and celiacs, music, and entertainment will accompany the traditional picnics.
In Norbello, the novenary of Saint Ignatius will be the heart of an intense day. The Committee is organizing a community lunch and food stands, while the cultural and musical program is particularly rich. At 9:00 a.m., the Passi Solidali sports event, promoted by Asd Guilcier Team La Città and Ail, kicks off. At 11:00 a.m., the Nuraghe Ruiu campsite hosts the shadow theater show " Al lupo, al lupo! ", for children aged 3 to 8. The afternoon kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with " Semplicemente Mimì ," a tribute to Mia Martini with Erica Loi and Pino Montalbano , in collaboration with the Guilcier-Barigadu Civic Music School. At 4:00 p.m., " De André between music and words " will be performed by the Aurelio Serra Faber Trio. At 5:00 p.m., Paolo Floris and Pierpaolo Vacca will perform " Storia di un uomo magro ," a production of the Pane e Cioccolata association. The evening culminates with the Modena City Ramblers concert, eagerly awaited by audiences of all ages.
In Ghilarza, the novenaries of San Michele , San Giovanni , Trempu and San Serafino host moments of celebration and aggregation, in addition to the religious celebrations curated by Father Paolo Contini , who will also guarantee the masses in the novenaries of Abbasanta and Norbello.
The area's many rural villages are also lively: Santa Cristina in Paulilatino, San Nicola and Santa Maria in Sorradile, San Michele in Tadasuni, San Salvatore in Boroneddu, San Giacomo in Nughedu, Santa Vittoria, Santa Maria di Ossolo in Bidonì, San Quirico in Ardauli, Santa Susanna in Busachi, S'Angelu in Neoneli, and Santa Barbara in Aidomaggiore. A mosaic of events that confirms the strength of local traditions and the region's ability to welcome, engage, and surprise those who choose to spend Easter and Easter Monday amidst nature, culture, and community.
