Easter Monday at the Poetto of Cagliari: full on the beach and queues
Thousands choose the promenade by the sea: sold-out parking lots and clogged trafficThe line of cars at the exit from the Asse Mediano heralds a full house, then the "war" continues in the search for a parking space . The dirt road of Marina Piccola is quickly sold out, there are those who repeat the tour of the square, in the hope that someone has finished their walk and free the place.
It is Easter Monday in Cagliari , with the Poetto beach stormed as per tradition, also thanks to the sunny day that illuminated the Sella del Diavolo. Because if it is true that many have chosen the trip out of town, with several roads leaving the capital clogged, some have preferred not to go too far from home.
So many walk along the promenade, someone opts to stay by the sea, others take advantage of it for a ride or a bit of jogging. But the "short-sleeved" temperature already triggers the desire for summer, and the most daring of them throw themselves into the first swim of the year . On a day of celebration there is also a desire to relax, so you lay down your towel and sunbathe, in your bathing suit or everyday outfit.
In the meantime, some teenagers and children improvise a goal and take out a ball, while someone chooses a water sport. Yet the various wetsuits worn suggest that, however great the desire for the sea is, there is still time to wait for the summer .
