Drunk driving hits a pedestrian: Sant'Anna Arresi, license withdrawn and car seized

Drunk driving, hit a pedestrian.

The episode took place yesterday, on Christmas day, in Sant'Anna Arresi.

On the spot the carabinieri of the Carbonia station, who deferred the man, a 47-year-old local worker, to freedom.

The 47-year-old was driving his Passat in via Italia when he hit a 29-year-old from Quartucciu. The young man was taken from 118 to the city hospital.

The driver had a higher alcohol content than allowed, for this reason his license was withdrawn and the vehicle impounded.
