Young people and the nightlife, knives, drugs, theft, but also road and food safety, with checks on commercial establishments.

Carabinieri from the Provincial Command conducted a high-impact operation in several areas of Cagliari, with a particular focus on young people: 51 people were checked, including 21 minors.

Six people were reported at large. A young man had left the community to which he was entrusted under a precautionary measure, and a foreign citizen was caught in Cagliari despite being banned from residing within the city limits. Another 19-year-old was found in possession of a 19-centimeter switchblade, which was immediately seized.

Furthermore, a young man was found in possession of a secure bag designed to evade anti-theft systems, containing designer clothing—likely stolen—a pair of wire cutters, and a bottle of methadone. A driver with a blood alcohol level of 1.36 grams per liter (almost triple the legal limit) and in possession of nearly a gram of cocaine was charged with drunk driving and reported to the Prefect. Another man had tampered with and removed the microchip on his electronic ID card.

Finally, a supermarket and a cocktail bar were fined for failing to comply with HACCP procedures.
