Five years in prison , is the sentence requested by the prosecutor for the pensioner from Orune , Francesco Goddi . The man, 76 years old, was arrested two years ago in Olbia because he was found in possession of several dozen grams of cocaine and three pistols , one of which had the serial number erased.
Goddi, defended by criminal lawyers Cristina and Abele Cherchi, had been involved in the De Megni kidnapping, in 2023 he ended up again in the sights of the Carabinieri. Today the prosecutor asked for 5 years (with the benefits of the abbreviated trial) and in front of the investigating judge of Tempio, Alessandro Cossu, the criminal lawyer Cristina Cherchi also spoke.
Goddi's defense asked for acquittal , because the pensioner would not have had access to drugs and weapons. The sentence will be read in early March .
