A drug trafficking that "traveled" through simple shipments, between Sardinia and Lazio. The operation that this morning led to the arrest of a thirty-year-old in Ceccano, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, was started following a tip from Poste Italiane employees in Arzachena.

The activity ended in Lazio, but originated in Sardinia. In the Arzachena branch, a package containing about 100 grams of hashish was initially seized: the Carabinieri carried out the investigations and identified the sender and recipient of the shipment, residents of Ceccano and Arzachena respectively . From there, the coordination that led to a simultaneous search of the two homes.

The Carabinieri of Ceccano, at the sender's home, found 13 blocks of hashish (total weight approximately 780 grams) and the same number of packages of marijuana (approximately 110 grams), as well as various packaging material and 18,600 euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of the drug dealing activity. The drugs and money were seized.

There was no doubt that the arrested man was the author of the shipment destined for Arzachena: the blocks of hashish found in the house were enclosed in the same package seized in Sardinia . He is now in prison in Frosinone.
