The Carabinieri of the San Gavino Monreale Station, with the support of their colleagues from the Gonnosfanadiga Station, arrested two local men, a 32-year-old and a 20-year-old, both already known to the Police Force, believed to be responsible for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The San Gavino police officers noticed them in a small car that was driving at an unsteady pace. The excessive nervousness of the two aroused the suspicions of the Carabinieri, who ordered a check and searches , including their homes, in collaboration with the Gonnosfanadiga police officers.

Thus, at the 32-year-old's home , 165 grams of cannabis, 3 grams of hashish, a dose of cocaine, packaging material and 250 euros in cash were found, while at the 20-year-old's home the Carabinieri found 3 grams of ketamine divided into doses, 4 grams of cannabis, a precision scale and 305 euros in banknotes of various denominations.

All the material was seized, while the two arrested men were placed under house arrest, pending a validation hearing before the Cagliari Court.
