The kilos of marijuana were the "big steaks", the dealing was organized in detail and took place in various locations on the island, starting from Olbia where, according to the prosecutor Alessandro Bosco, the main protagonists of the trafficking were.

The investigation by detectives from the Porto Cervo police station which led to the arrest of nine people started from the Costa Smeralda but reached as far as Oristano , where some of the suspects were followed and filmed while they were delivering drugs.

Today the first people heard by the Tempio investigating judge, Marco Contu, Fabrizio Derosas from Olbia and Simone Erdas from Oristano, assisted by the lawyer Giampaolo Murrighile, made use of the right not to respond.

Other drug dealing centers of the alleged organization were those of La Maddalena, Porto San Paolo, Porto Rotondo and Arzachena. Dozens of cocaine sales have been documented everywhere on the island.

According to rumours, the investigation entrusted to the director of the Porto Cervo police station, Lino Collu, was also intertwined with the investigations into the arson raids in Olbia in recent months.

Yesterday a vast operation conducted by the State Police and coordinated by the prosecutor Alessandro Bosco led to the execution of eight precautionary custody measures in prison, one of house arrest and two signature requirements.

There is talk of around a hundred sales of cocaine , around two kilos of marijuana.

According to prosecutor Bosco, prominent figures in the alleged drug dealing network are Stefano Deriu , 42 years old, from Ghilarza but resident in Olbia, and Fabrizio Derosas , 34 years old, from Olbia, resident in Pittulongu (victim of an arson raid in Olbia). For them the measure is prison, as for the Maddalenini, Francesco Bagaglia , 37 years old, Elena Olivieri , 36 years old, and Fabrizio Gravesu .

Federico Porta , resident in Porto Rotondo, Fabiano Corda , from Alà dei Sardi and resident in Olbia, and Simone Erdas (from Oristano, but actually resident in Porto Rotondo) were also transferred to prison.

The less serious measures are for Mauro Careddu (house arrest), Marco Serra and Roberto Vender (residence obligation).

No comment from the defenders, the lawyers Giampaolo Murrighile, Luca Montella, Antonello Desini and Luca Tamponi. The interrogations will continue on Saturday in front of the Tempio investigating magistrate.
