Drones and cyber-defense, experiments continue at the Quirra Polygon

Study programs, research and technological-industrial experimentation of cyber-defense, cyber-security and modeling & simulation, civil protection school, activities in the aerospace sector in support of national research and development policies, experimentation, certification and training activities drones. These are the projects that will be carried out over the next five years within the Poligono del Salto di Quirra .
The President of the Region, Christian Solinas , and the commander of the Experimental and Training Range (Pisq), the Air Brigade General Davide Marzinotto , have signed the agreement with which the activities that can be carried out within the training area and the public and private subjects who can use it and the program with the time limits and constraints in which these activities are authorized are indicated.
"The specification for the use of the Quirra Polygon - comments Solinas - is part of an overall framework that, through the collaboration between the Region and the Defense , favors a harmonious management of the military presence in Sardinia and an opportunity for development for the territories concerned, also with research and technological innovation ".
The AeroSpace District of Sardinia (DASS) already carries out its activity in the Polygon, which is experimenting with remote piloting systems and the use of aerodones.
