Tragic accident on the climbing route in Dorgali. A foreign climber, resident in the Oristano area, died after falling from one of the nailed walls set up in the area.

The exact dynamics of the accident, which occurred shortly after 4pm today, is being examined by investigators, coordinated by the Nuoro Prosecutor's Office. The climber, Giuseppe Aneris , known as Jose, born in 1963, may have made a mistake when attaching the rope or may have fallen ill.

All hypotheses, at the moment, for what was a tragic fatality. The Echo Lima 2 team, the Areus helicopter based in Alghero, also intervened on site, but there was nothing left for the climber to do: the impact with the ground was extremely violent and fatal.
