Today is the day of the national strike of doctors and nurses members of the Anaao Assomed, Cimo Fesmed and Nursing Up unions: demonstrations throughout Italy and also in Cagliari, with a sit-in in Piazza del Carmine.

There are six main reasons for the protest : hiring of staff, tax relief for part of the salary, adequate resources for the renewal of the employment contract, decriminalization of the medical act, cancellation of pension cuts and identification of an autonomous contractual area for nurses .
