Decimomannu, gets lost in a reed bed: 18 years old saved by the carabinieri

An eighteen year old, in a confused state , was tracked down and saved by the carabinieri of the Siliqua station.

The girl, a resident of Selargius , had gone to Decimomannu for some chores when, in the afternoon, she began to wander aimlessly in the countryside on the outskirts of the town . The girl's mother, in the late evening, after noting that the young woman had not returned home, tried to contact her by phone.

The young woman replied in an evident state of agitation , explaining that she did not know where she was and giving few clues to her position. After the worrying reply, received after midnight, the mother asked for help on 112.

The response of the men of the Arma was timely: in a short time, after reaching the last certain place where the girl was, the two carabinieri began their searches . With the details of the last phone call made to the mother, where the girl explained that she was in the dark, stuck in the countryside but did not know the precise point, the soldiers followed a lead that in a few hours led them to a reed bed , where she was found in a strong state of agitation and dehydrated .
