Last year, he was arrested for a series of extortion attempts and harassment against a 79-year-old pensioner from Sestu, from whom he allegedly demanded sums of money, along with repeated death threats and harassing telephone calls. For this reason, the judicial authorities ordered him placed under house arrest in a community.
But the continued violation of the measure and its dangerousness have now led the judicial authority itself to tighten the measure.
For this reason, yesterday evening, the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Sant'Avendrace Station executed a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Cagliari Court.
A 42-year-old unemployed man, resident in Sestu and already known to law enforcement, was taken to Uta prison.
