No illness for Giuseppe Mellino, the 38-year-old worker from Ozieri who died in recent days on a construction site in Palau. The man lost his life due to the crushing of the chest.
This was revealed by the autopsy carried out by the coroner Francesco Sanna, appointed by the Tempio Pausania prosecutor to ascertain the cause of death.
The first findings of the necropsy test confirm the hypothesis put forward by the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Olbia, who after investigating what initially seemed to be death by illness, they suspected that Mellino had been hit by the bucket of the mechanical vehicle he was working on, led by his employer, the 45-year-old from Ozieri Salvatore Farris.
The entrepreneur , defended by the lawyers Stefano Carboni and Alessandro Azzena, is formally investigated for manslaughter .
The final results of the autopsy, with the necessary investigations, will be known within sixty days.
Soon you should also know the report of the appraisal carried out on the mechanical vehicle, always ordered by the Prosecutor.
In the meantime, Giuseppe Mellino's family , represented by the lawyers Antonella Tuvone and Anna Rita Murgia, is ready to appear as a civil party in any criminal proceedings.
