A cycle-pedestrian path instead of a country road in Capo Altano, in the municipality of Portoscuso. A reddish stripe among the vegetation that environmentalists do not like. The reasoning is simple.
"A track like this improves a city suburb but degrades an environment that was previously intact", denounces the Legal Intervention Group (Grig).
Heavy impact, therefore, according to ecologists. For them that color given to the track "recalls the red mud with signs visible from a long distance". All this in a natural paradise setting.
"High coast, cliffs where the Queen's Falcon flies, Mediterranean scrub, the smell of the sea and the lapping of the waves. Coastal area protected by the landscape constraint in most of the land belonging to the Civic State Property". For this reason, the GRIG has submitted a request for civic access, environmental information and the adoption of appropriate measures to verify the existence of the necessary administrative authorizations.
“Regardless of the presence or absence of legal authorizations - concludes the association - the modus operandi remains very sad for an environment that deserves much more attention”.
