Cuglieri, cultural summer full of events until September

Cultural summer full of many events in Cuglieri and the seaside villages of S'Archittu and Santa Caterina. Literary readings, musical evenings, fireworks and entertainment for children that mark the desire to restart after a difficult two-year period between a pandemic and the damage of the big fire last summer.

Sunday 7 the feast of Santa Maria della Neve with the traditional procession of the faithful that will accompany the statue of the Madonna on the ox cart to the mountain sanctuary of the Madonnina, where at 11 am the holy mass will be held. In the evening, return to the basilica in Cuglieri for the blessing, with the procession of the brotherhoods and associations Gurulis Nova and Ampsicora. At 9 pm the Eucharistic blessing. At 9.30 pm the fireworks display with the spectacular cascade of fireworks.

On Monday 8 the great soundtracks by Morricone and Williams, performed by Massimiliano Pani on the violin and Walter Agus on the piano, will resound in the churchyard of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Neve at 9pm.

Wednesday 10 musical evening with the Hit Parade group, followed by Dj set in the cloister of the former Seminary. The next day, Thursday 11th, the Duo Diesis Group and Paolo Vanacore will perform at S'Archittu in piazzetta degli Oleandri.

After the mid-August break, resumes Tuesday 16 in the grove of Santa Caterina with the Beatles and Friends group.

Also in Santa Caterina in the suggestive bay, on Wednesday 17 at 24 the fireworks show, organized by the natural shopping center of Cuglieri.

Thursday 18 is the time for author readings with the summer literary review AperiBook in the grove of Santa Caterina: presentation of the book "Albert the last summer" by Patrizia Floris, edited by the Montiferru library system.

Friday 19 in Cuglieri in the square Sa Serra at 9.30 pm musical evening with the New Krypto group. The next day, Saturday 20 , always in the same square, games and entertainment for children, followed by foam party and Dj set.

Tuesday 23 celebrations in Cuglieri in honor of San Filippo Benizi with distribution of bread. Friday 26 returns the literary review AperiBook in the grove of Santa Caterina: presentation of the book “I rintocchi di Galusé” by Roberto Brughitta, edited by the Montiferru library system.

From 7 to 10 September the celebrations for the Beata Vergine delle Grazie in Piazza Amsicora in Cuglieri.
