Rescue services are in action on Provincial Road 22, in the Ballao area, where a car and a truck collided for reasons yet to be determined.
The firefighters from the San Vito detachment intervened on the scene, freeing the injured driver of the car and handing him over to medical personnel for transport by air ambulance to the hospital with a red code .

The 115 team then took care of securing the road, which was temporarily closed to traffic until the vehicles involved were removed from the carriageway.
The police were also on site to carry out investigations and legal investigations.
