A 63-year-old motorcyclist from Terni was airlifted to Nuoro Hospital with a red code, in very serious condition . The man was riding his motorcycle toward Macomer, coming from Bosa. Near the former agricultural school in Bara, he lost control of his vehicle and ended up in a ditch.
The man was promptly assisted by passing motorists and immediately afterward by a paramedic, who attempted to stabilize him. At that point, the air ambulance was called, which transported the injured man to Nuoro Hospital, classified as a red light . His condition immediately appeared serious.
The accident occurred around 9:15 PM, and the air ambulance departed for Nuoro only around 9:45 PM. Traffic in that area was blocked for about an hour. Many drivers chose to take secondary roads to reach Macomer and head toward Planargia. The Macomer Highway Patrol and the Carabinieri were on site.
