Crash during the night in Macchiareddu: a woman seriously injured, a couple injured

A woman in code red and a married couple injured, although less seriously: this is the outcome of an accident that occurred this morning on the consortium ridge of Macchiareddu, in the Capoterra area.

According to initial information, a BMW with a husband and wife on board and a Ford driven by a woman collided head-on around 2.30am.

It was the latter who suffered the worst consequences, transferred to the Santissima Trinità under code red, aboard a 118 ambulance: after the impact her car flew into the brush.

The spouses were also taken to the same hospital under code yellow: their lives are not in danger.
