With today all the regions, including Sardinia, are in the white band but in a few days - March 31 - the state of emergency relating to the pandemic from Covid-19 will expire with the already decided abandonment of the super Green passes and masks, but not indoors at least for now.
On the island, however, the pressure on non-critical hospital wards remains high: 20%. On the other hand, the occupancy of beds by Covid patients in intensive care is decreasing, which falls to 9%. In addition to overcoming the color system, the rules also change at school: only the positives will go to Dad, if there are more than 4 infections in the class, there will still be lessons in person but everyone will have to wear the Ffp2 mask for 10 days (normally surgery is mandatory). The kids will be able to go back on a trip. And unvaccinated teachers will be able to go to school, but not teach.
The vaccination obligation will remain in force beyond June 15 only for health and RSA personnel.
Today in Sardinia the vaccinated with two doses are 1,357,598, equal to 84.9% of the total population. Although in recent weeks there has been a marked slowdown in administrations, especially among pediatric ones, stopping at less than 45%: overall the first doses have passed in a short time from a few hundred to a few dozen, while the inoculations of the third doses continue.
And the vaccination target of 90% of the population is also moving away, which based on the current trend could be reached no earlier than 2024.
