Covid, pressure on hospitals in Sardinia is growing: employment in the wards is 20%

The occupation of “non-critical area” wards by Covid patients is growing in Sardinia.
Today's data from the National Agency for Regional Health Services ( Agenas ) refer to a percentage of occupancy of beds equal to 20% (+ 1%) on the island, albeit with a reduction of one percentage point, with a figure that it is updated to 6% , in the intensive care units .
The virus , therefore, continues to run and hit the island, albeit with a lower percentage of seriously ill patients thanks also to the high vaccination coverage .
IN ITALY - In Italy, in the last 24 hours the employment of the “non-critical area” departments remained at 16% (a year ago it was 32%), but it is growing in 12 regions and autonomous provinces. Intensive care employment remained stable at 4% (a year ago it was 32%) with no region exceeding the 10% threshold.
