The new daily infections of Covid-19 in Sardinia return to over a thousand. And there is a peak of deaths caused by the epidemic: ten in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, the number of people admitted to intensive care remains stable, while the number of people admitted to the medical area is still increasing.
The positivity rate is 6.1%.
Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Monday 24 January 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 1224 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity, based on 2807 people tested. A total of 19883 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 30 patients admitted to intensive care units (like yesterday).
There are 291 patients admitted to the medical area (four more than yesterday).
22775 are the cases of home isolation (475 more than yesterday).
There are 10 deaths: 1 man aged 64, residing in the province of Southern Sardinia; 3 men aged 52, 74, and 87, and 1 woman aged 92, all residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; 3 men of 76, 88 and 91 years, residing in the province of Sassari, and 2 men of 79 and 91, residing in the province of Nuoro ".
