With just under 2,700 swabs performed, Covid cases in Sardinia recorded in the last 24 hours dropped to 385. But in the island, between yesterday and today, there was a new peak in deaths: 13.

The positivity rate stands at 14.2%, while the number of patients in intensive care is increasing.

Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Monday 28 February 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 385 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 328 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 2694 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 26 (+2).

337 patients admitted to the medical area (same number as yesterday).

30932 are the cases of home isolation (-361).

There are 13 deaths: three women aged 74, 75 and 91 and two men aged 73 and 87, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; two women aged 86 and 98 and two men aged 53 and 81, residing in the province of South Sardinia; two men aged 64 and 83, residing in the province of Sassari; an 82-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano and a 78-year-old man residing in the province of Nuoro ".
