Coronavirus claims 10 more victims in Sardinia. This was announced by the new update issued by the Region on Tuesday 15 March 2022.
New cases increase significantly, over three thousand in 24 hours, with a positive rate of
18.6%.
Here is the full bulletin: “In Sardinia today there are 3050 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 2739 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 16329 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 18 (same data as yesterday).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 328 (+ 5).
25315 are the cases of home isolation (+ 864).
There are 10 deaths: three women aged 79, 82 and 91, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; two women of 87 and 91 years and a man of 46, residing in the province of South Sardinia; an 89-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man residing in the province of Sassari and two deaths in the province of Nuoro ”.
