Eight hundred square meters of beach illegally occupied with various equipment.

The Cagliari Coast Guard intervened in Costa Rei, in the municipality of Muravera, for an inspection aimed at protecting the maritime state property. They reported the owner of the Vera Club and proceeded with the seizure of the area.

The Coast Guard reports that the occupation was achieved by installing several easily removable structures, including a beach volleyball court, a bocce court, several sailboats, and racks for storing canoes and SUP boards.

In the same operation, five administrative fines were also imposed on two holders of state maritime concessions, totaling €5,160, following violations found during the checks.

The seized area has been cleared, allowing the restoration of the site's original condition and ensuring the community's full and unrestricted use of the maritime public domain .
